<description>Yeah, it's really too bad. They had some ideas in the works which would be really nice, but the company decided to focus on its routing engine to license to other companies.

Software like MS Live Search or Google Maps will eventually replace Mapopolis on my devices, but it's still my favorite for navigating in unfamiliar areas for one reason: text-to-speech spoken directions. With Mapopolis I can listen to the directions without taking my eyes off the road, which is invaluable in unfamiliar areas where I need to watch out for turns and can't afford to look away to focus on the little screen. Even after the online-based software offers spoken directions, I'll still keep Mapopolis around in case I'm driving somewhere without a signal for use with the data connection.

Enjoying your new &lt;a href="http://www.mobiletechreview.com/phones/HTC-Mogul.htm" target="_blank" title="Review of the Sprint Mogul" rel="nofollow"&gt;Mogul&lt;/a&gt;? I kinda wish Verizon would release this model on their network, but then I'd be "forced" to upgrade and find a home for my XV6700. ;-) Really, I just want Windows Mobile 6 because of its Exchange 2007 integration.</description>
